The project during this semester of school also required students to explore a digital media, which for my studio class was the animation program After Effects. The first video below was a version of “site analysis” studying the existing environment within the existing building of Gangplank in Chandler, AZ.
Designing for Adaptable Futures 2012 is a competition that asks students to demonstrate the integration of time in a design proposal by highlighting how it will accommodate various types of change. Requirements for this design competition included 2 boards and a short animation. My contribution to this group submission was the composition of the animation:
